Old Synagogue

The Old Synagogue of Kraków is one of the most valuable Orthodox Jewish synagogues in Europe. It was transformed into a branch of the Historical Museum of Kraków.  The synagogue was completely devastated and ransacked by the Germans during WWII.

In 1943, 30 Polish hostages were executed at its wall, a monument to remember is in front of the synagogue.
