On Sunday 17th November 2019 a ceremony was held on the occasion of the German Memorial Day ´Volkstrauertag´. "We want to remember all victims of war and violence all over the world in the spirit of the ideals of the German War Graves Commission: Reconciliation over the Graves – Work for Peace".

In the presence of Z.E. Martin Kotthaus, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Belgium, detachment KSOO from Sint-Truiden (B) as well as wreath bearers of the Tac Wing 33 from Cochem (D), The Royal Band of the Belgian Navy.
