The French necropolis is a regrouping necropolis which received the bodies of 16 temporary cemeteries including those of Ecouvillon, Mareuil-la-Motte, Saint-Claude, Roye-sur-Matz and Plessis-de-Roye. It contains 1,266 bodies, including 547 buried in two ossuaries. The layout in rows around a central aisle, an axis of symmetry, conforms to the standard layout of French cemeteries.
