Tomb of the Unknown Soldier - remains of an unknown Polish soldier who died 1914-1920. Also a large urn with soil from important battlefields of the Second World War. The names of these battlefields have been added to the monument.
Grunwald Memorial
The Grunwald war memorial in Krakow was blown up by the Germans in World War II. They used the bronze statues for the manufacture of war equipment. The monument was restored after the war and unveiled on October 16, 1976.
