Esterwegen Monastery

The silence centre, including the Chapel and the Raum der Sprachlosigkeit by architect Ulrich Tilgner and sculptor Klaus Simon, in Kloster Esterwegen has been open to the public since 2007. It is managed by the Franciscan Sisters (Mauritzer Franziskanerinnen), who also act as guides for visitors.
