Considered as its "spiritual birthplace", Saint-Omer is taking part in the RAF Centenary celebrations at Longuenesse (St Omer) Souvenir Cemetery and a ceremony at Bruyères Airfield.

20 September 2018 has been chosen as the Memorial Day, exactly 100 years after the departure of Squadron 41 from Bruyères airfield.
