This cemetery covers an area of 22 acres with 228 Belgian graves from the First World War. Of the 228 graves, 46 are not identified.
Most of the deaths have fallen in the vicinity of Eppegem during the First (24-26 August 1914) and Second (9-13 September 1914) Drop-out from Antwerp. The mortality data 'peak' mainly on 24 August (44 deaths), 26 August (54), 27 August (13) and 12 September (42). In the cemetery are mainly the 2nd Jagers on Foot (with 66 deaths) and 3rd Jagers on Foot (with 96 deaths) strongly 'represented'.
