Hamont Shelter
Single Person Air-raid shelter Hamont
The single person air raid shelter made of concrete and steel was built during the Second World War. It provided as a shelter for railway signalmen during airplane attacks on the yard. There were several of these structures spread over the area.
The station of Hamont is the frontier of the railway Antwerp-Mol-Hamont-Mönchengladbach in the German Ruhr.
