Brussels Town Cemetery
The memorial wall for those executed during the war 14-18, of François Malfait and Pierre Theunis Honored in 1930.
The long wall is decorated in the center with a group of statues that seem to emerge from the stones. Pierre Theunis also made portraits based on the photo of the eighteen executed; they are arranged on both sides of the sculpture group. The epitaphs of the executed war 40-45 are placed in a curved line opposite the Wall of the Executed (1951). The project is the result of a subscription. Eighteen executed men are buried under the wall.
