Both of them in precarious conditions demonstrated courage and endurance.

Fled from Belgium to England where they with enthusiasm and courage enlisted as volunteers into the parachute corps.

Died in Hansweert Holland 31 – 03 – 1944 in performing a special assignment.

Lieutenant I.A.A. Schaepdryver Andre Born Here 31 – 12 – 1920

Held and taken to Germany where he died as a martyr for the freedom of his country and people 01 – 02 – 1945 in Mauthausen concentration camp.
