The Gennep Holocaust monument was placed on the Peace Square in Gennep in January 2021 by the Gennep foundation Monarch, which earlier in 2018 also took care of the placement of stumbling stones in front of the residential addresses of the Gennep Jews who were deported and murdered from Gennep.

The monument, made of Corten steel and designed by the Gennep artist Mirso Bajramovic, symbolizes 22 silhouettes of the 22 Jews deported and murdered from Gennep.
