The project "Faces of War", by Jan Fieuw, is a tribute to those who lost their lives in World War 1.
129 sleepers were given a face as a silent witness of what happened during WW I in our region.
129 faces of anonymous soldiers from 129 countries that were involved in the Great War. Some of the sleepers still contain bullets or shrapnel fragments.
