Mathieu François Camille Joset, called Camille Joset, is a hero of the resistance of the First and the Second World War.

He will be appointed Royal High Commissioner at the end of the Great War to work for the reconstruction of the Province of Luxembourg. He will be editor-in-chief and Director of the newspaper "L'Avenir du Luxembourg".
During the Second World War, he was, from 1939, with his son, Camille-Jean Joset (1912-1992), a British intelligence agent. He was also a member of the national directorate of the Belgian National Movement, of which he took over the national command after the arrest of Aimé Dandoy on October 23, 1941.
He will be the editor-in-chief of "La Voix des Belges" and will in turn be arrested by the Gestapo on April 27, 1942 and will remain prisoner for three years, during which time he will lose the use of his legs.
