Deventer Roman Catholic Cemetery

Historical Information 

The Roman Catholic cemetery in Deventer contains the grave of four Belgian soldiers who died here during the war 1914-1918.

These are:

At the top of the stone is a plate in the colors of the Belgian flag. In the carved, open book at the base of the stone is written the following text: `` God grant that I may rest to His eternal power '' and ` Her place is empty, her voice is silent, we are silent Lord, it is Thine'.
