There are several veteran graves from the First and the Second World War.
Michel Moors (Bilzen, October 28, 1894 - Hees, August 16, 1944) was a great war mutilated from the First World War, municipal secretary and resistance during the Second World War. He was deputy sector superior of the Bilzen sector.
Michel Moors was murdered by four members of the Boerenwacht on the Maastrichtersteenweg in Hees. His son Ferdinand died in the Mittelbau-Dora concentration camp.
