IS-2 Tank Krakow

This IS-2 tank (No. 40.116) was part of the 5th Heavy Tank Regiment (5 Pułk Czołgów Ciężkich) of the 2nd Polish Army (2 Armia Wojska). The tank was active from April 1945 and was involved in battles in Poland and Czechoslovakia. During these battles, this tank managed to take out 4 armored vehicles, 3 artillery pieces and 2 tanks. In addition, the tank also damaged a tank.
