Historical Information
only monument with names and information board
46 French soldiers who died during the fighting on 29 August 1914. These soldiers were initially buried in a communal grave. In 1921, a monument was built on the site of this collective grave to pay tribute to these fighters, in particular those of the 236th Infantry Regiment (RI). This monument is also the war memorial of the municipality and thus commemorates the memory of eight residents who died during the war. Another plaque commemorates the fifteen men who died in April 1917 and who rest in the municipal cemetery.
