In the western part is a special plot in which are buried local French soldiers and civilians of the Resistance. In this plot are also the graves of four airmen of the Royal Air Force.

Took off 2311 10 April 1943 from RAF Linton-on-Ouse. Target: Frankfurt. Outbound at between 16000 and 17000 feet shot down by a night-fighter and crashed 0100 near Hirson (Aisne) 15 km NE of Vervins France.
