94 airmen are buried at Lijssenthoek, the largest number in a cemetery in Belgium. They were pilots or observer in the British Air Force. Their base was one of the four airports around Poperinge. Flyboys, heroes in the air but often the victims of brutal technical bad luck. The themed exhibition highlights a number of striking pilot stories.
