War dead from the Richelsdorf Valley are to find their final resting place in the Untersuhl cemetery.  On Thursday, June 22, 2023, the exhumation of the remains of 74 Soviet prisoners of war in the Richelsdorf Valley near Gerstungen took place under the direction of Joachim Kozlowski.  The reburial of the remains took place in the Soviet honorary cemetery in Gerstungen-Untersuhl.
