Großenkneten - Sannum, Ausländischer Kriegsopferfriedhof (info: Volksbund)

256 Soviet dead, women and men, often entire families, almost all from the Baltic States, who were deported to Germany as forced laborers after the conquest of these areas and were used for forced labor in the Oldenburg/Northwest Germany region.

In addition to the 256 cross graves, there are two large memorial stones in the cemetery. The Latvian memorial stone for the deceased bears an inscription on the front that translates as "Divine peace to the deceased." The names of those who died are listed on the back. The memorial stone for the Estonian deceased bears a cross with the names of the dead engraved on the sides.
