Leopoldsburg Belgian Military Cemetery

The Belgian military cemetery of Leopoldsburg is a military cemetery on the King Leopold II lane in the Belgian municipality of Leopoldsburg. This cemetery covers an area of 183 ares with 1312 graves from the Second and the First World War, as well as Belgians who died in Germany, unidentified political prisoners and deceased Russian prisoners of war. Until 1928 it was a German military cemetery, but it was cleared in 1928. On the cemetery are two chapels that remind of the unidentified political prisoners and the unknown prisoners of war.
